Nous choisissons les alimentations \u00e9lectriques en raison de la puissance qu\u2019elles offrent. Cette puissance se refl\u00e8te en amp\u00e8res (A), plus la valeur est \u00e9lev\u00e9e, plus la source aura de puissance. Pour conna\u00eetre l\u2019\u00e9quivalence en watts (w), il est n\u00e9cessaire de multiplier les amplis par la valeur de la tension de sortie de la source. C\u2019est-\u00e0-dire, si la source offre 40A pour une tension de sortie de 5 volts en continu, la puissance offerte par cette source sera de 40A x 5V = 200 w.
