Questi sistemi asincroni sono piccole schede elettroniche che si trovano all\u2019interno dello schermo, a cui vi si accede tramite Wifi, connessione diretta via cavo di rete o tramite internet. Ci sono centinaia di produttori che offrono questo tipo di sistemi per schermi Led, il 99% di origine asiatica. Un player asincrono \u00e8 caratterizzato dalla possibilit\u00e0 di riprodurre contenuti video digitali immagazzinati in una memoria (hard disk, pendrive USB, schede SD, ecc.) senza appoggiarsi ad una sorgente video con lettore esterno. Questa scheda esegue la conversione del segnale dell\u2019immagine d\u2019ingresso HDMI o DVI e la trasforma affinch\u00e9 il display Led possa riprodurla. Questo elemento, sebbene di dimensioni molto ridotte, deve essere posizionato tra il sistema di riproduzione e il display
